Since I was just a kid I have always wanted to speak many languages because I love learning them and see how can I understand them later. I am actually learning Norwegian, Portuguese, Italian and Catalan. It might sound crazy but my dream has always been to be a multilingual person. Being able to write properly is essential as it helps to organise and develop your ideas in the best way possible. Furthermore, writing can also help with your communication skills because it improves the abitily to express your thoughts.  Since I was at highschool my writing skills have improved but I definitely still have a lot to learn. When I had to make an essay, I used to write the first ideas that came to my mind. Then, I read it and I changed anything if I thought it was necessary. However, I found out that there must be a process before starting to write. In these years, I have discovered several steps that must be done before starting to write an essay. What I usually do before writing is making an outline. I used to think it was not necessary but it has helped me to organise my thoughts as I always have a lot of ideas but I do not know how to put them in order. Nowadays, writing is one of the most important forms of communication due to the techonological advances and the way we inform ourselves. It is because of this I needed to improve my writing skills. Today I am going to explain some of the things I do to improve them as well as I will name tools and websites that really helped me to write better than I used to and that are still helping me at the present.  In the past, since I was a child I liked pretty much the fact of writing about anything. In my school I used to write many voluntary stories because I enjoyed quite a lot the process of writing. At first I only wrote in Spanish but then I started to study English and I thought that it would be funny to try to write in English as well, and I did so.
